a pin!!! so we posed the question to you, what do you do if a customer decided to change a hinge pin as your about to paint a car??? well you change it ofcourse!!!! nothing ever runs smoothly so the pin got stuck resulting in us changing the hinge as well as the pin!!! but it looks pretty good and the door sure fits nice ;)

so last week sams bus was loaded into its colour coded trailer, its not going to make the volksworld show this year but be sure to check out a show near you soon to check it out in the flesh...........it looked absolutley amazing and Sam was super happy!

And we have been cracking on to Paul Denhams Oval rag, The wings needed a minor bit of surgery to say the least. When they returned from SPL they looked a little bit moth eaten!!!

oh dear!!

loads more to goooo!!! thankfuly we have plenty of work still in store for you, but on Friday Sam came to collect his bus it looked amazing and they'll some pics of us waving good bye soon. but as I have been promising heres one of our latest deliverys. Its been with us for a while now with slow progress BUT now your gonna start to see the changes as we focus in on it!!!

Its already been rebuilt from the ground up by us, its been away for dipping and now its back!

Ok so Sams bus is now looking super sexy!!!! Its really good to see any job get ready to leave but this one looks amazing and we are so pleased it came out so briliantly it really is unbelieveable that it is the same bus that arrived all that time ago!!

a few weeks ago we took delivery of some new arrivals, Paul Denhams oval rag being one of them, it was only away for a while after we gave it a bit of a make over it went off to be acid dipped and came back ready for its paint.........keep checking back to see it in progress, also some pics of it on arrival later in the week!!

some more beams builds and surprises getting ready for the lead up to the Volksworld show as we have mentioned we will be having a stand there in the main hall so be sure to come over and say Hi!!! and check out our detailing work close up also our beams!!

So hope everyone had a restful and bountiful xmas and happy new year to all our followers!!! Been a funny few weeks, where to start well a few days before christmas I cut the top of my finger pad off!! drama and some butterfly stitches later all was back together again!! so Sams bus was full painted only waiting polish looking like this

so since coming back in the new year with a serious dose of family man flu!!! (yes we have ALL had it) I have been polishing away so pics later in the week of the doors on etc!!

Theres been two new arrivals also that I will reveal as the week goes on, Mr Fenner popped by to see his 55 after some recent issues have been resolved its going to get its paint in the next couple of weeks so he can finally have it back!!!!! lol

phew.......busy busy......now wheres those vitamin c tablets!!!!

and its all go go go..........well more paint action on Sams bus, to ensure to the best possible finish without any problems and super glas paint you have to paint everything peice by peice!!! so heres the doors etc that saw some action today!!

and its me!!!!!!!!

also been visited by our mate Reubyn last week, as you may now Reubs and ace prosurfer and we have done some work on his amazing T5, well this dude never stops and has been doing more and more to it!! so we are detailing some interior parts now, but he turned up in his other toy!!! affectionatley named "Landy" lol its a super cool mark 1 Land Rover.

and super sweet interior!

So we have developed a 4" fit as standard, with no body mods beam. This beam is made from 100% new engineered metal, new cds tubes, milled and turned to recieve needle bearings and mikarta bushes!!! Just like OG beams BUT low and narrow ;) of course!!!! These also look real nice as it happens, avaliable to order now with leaves and stuff or without!!!

This beam is a custom 5" beam made for Mr Denham whos ragtop will be winging its way to us next week............so if you want something a lil bit special let us know.

Sams bottom half was tqr'd this afternoon......boy oh boy this bus looks sweeeeeet and its been sooooo much work, but the pics speak for themselves.

so had a good friend of ours Jacks deck in for a while now it had some TQR flames on it but We have been thinking that it needed something else, soooooo this is just what it needed!!!

still needs its final coat of clear but we think you get the idea, gona be having a few variations of these going up for sale soon so stay tuned, or if you have any commissions let us know!!!

Also got to finish off Ad's fuch's, did a petrol tank for him a couple of weeks ago that came out real nice so now his wheels match!!!full unmasked shots to come!

had a real hard core weekend working on Sams bus ready for the bottom half paint, for those that don;t know when we do a bus its prepped, straightened, primed, rub down and primed again which is all then rubbed down AGAIN ready for sealer and paint, so the whole process takes aaaagessss. but its what it takes to make a super straight all over TQR job, the pics we put of the bus the other day were HUUUGE so heres some down to size ones....

come back tomorrow, we're going to have some pics of the bottom and now very straight half of sams bus, Martins 55 has been seeing some action also and a breakdown of our new ready to wear bearing ladden beams !!!!!

So been some paint going on in the last week !! mainly on Sams bus!! the underneath saw its true colours tonight, We guess we must have used a few miles of masking tape with all the mask, unmask, mask, unmask action thats been going on, but here at Trailer Queen we believe if a jobs worth doing, its worth doing right!!!! and right it looks ;)

also the cabs in its colours now

also this week we had a visit from Mr Denham, who came down to drop off some parts and also to pick up his beam, this is our all new 100% scratch built and engineered to recieve mikarta bushings and lets be fair it looks pretty stunning too ;)

so painted a new tank for Adam's super duper 57, formerly of the fendered variety!!!!! delvered this back to Ad a few weeks back in exchange for a set of polished og fuch's that are getting detailed ready for the new show season!!! the tank came out super nice, took a little arty pic that includes two splits in at the momment which will both be seeing some paint this side of christmas!!

looks really really nice!!!! Kelly is STILL going on about the fleece blanket she donated to ensure its safe journey home !

Sam bus has been seeing alot of TQR loving in the last few months, believe me this bus was a real challenge but its all finally paying off, as you can see from the pics of the inside!!!!

this will be in full colours before the weeks out closely followed in the next few weeks by Mister Fenners Vert, oh yeah and some fuch's........also some work taking place on our very own ex rat project now owned by none other than Mr Wayne Mac....phew..........busy busy busy!!!!Also be sure to check back to see our next major project, its coming back for paint, its been with us before!!! yup Mr Denhams Oval Rag...........

also speaking of black, been detailing some more of the verts55 parts of late.........with most of the cars we do its all in the small detail, so if you have even the smallest of parts you need squareblacked you know where to come..............the money shot ......

So much hard work rubbing down side panels of buses and getting them arrow straight!!! but not only that we have had time to put into production our new bolt on beams, totally scratch built and made from all new parts from our own engineering bat cave!!!! went into primer

Also some of Martins 55 ivory interior parts got there final coats!

Also we know it was neeearly done BUT our rat project has been bought and is going onto pastures new!!! its going to have a few little jobs done first but be sure to keep your eyes peeled for it at a show next year!!!! Never ones to be without a challenge , in its place we have struck a deal and this is arriving in OCT at TQR!!!!

obviously looks a bit different from this now BUT be sure to keep coming back and you'll get to see the resto!!!!

Updates!!!

well its been a while!!!! we realised exactly how long it has been since we blogged when we recieved requests for more updates from a French Fan, so Arnaud this ones for you!!!

Well things have been so busy we haaaad to take a break so we had a week out and traveled to Spain for a family holiday, but apart from that major changes, with a new addition to my staff .......well actually Kelly (my wife) has now started working with me full time, she has been helping out for years out of hours etc but we are now fortunate enough for her to come and work with me!!! she asked for a company vehicle and this is what i got her so check back for it being resto'd!!

we have been working on Martins vert and also Sams bus which needs ALOT of work but its all straightened out and will be in full primer by the end of the week so watch out!!! been working on a new bolt on beam but its stratch built with some major engineering work having taken place!!! check back to see it all shiney this week!!

Martins vert pan got collected by ben from Evil Bens this week also, so the build up will start here!!!!

so more work updates coming a little more frequently from now on we promise!!!

finally huge congrats to the T3D boys on all the awards at the weekend from the Players show , Brazillia and the Squareback where both there, was super Happy for Mr Wayne Mac with the Best Paint award at the show, we are pleased to have been part of such a legend!!!!!!! come back soon!!!!!!!!!!!! we promise we will!!!!

So the first bit of Iris went onto Martins Vert last week, ready for the hood frame to be placed in its final resting place ready for the final count down over the next few weeks to paint!!! its a huge job but we're soooooo ready!!

rather a lovely colour choice we think!!! also Martins vert pan is finally all shiney
