Ski

Ski with snow guarantee on 80% of the domain Font-Romeu-Pyrénées 2000 thanks to 500 snow canons; cross country skiing : 111 km of pleasure in 22 tracks : 9 greens, 9 blues, 4 reds; snow shoes; ice ring (olympic) in Font-Romeu.

Parapente and kite

With several local companies, you'll have the opportunity to experience flight over Targassonne, Font Romeu and Les Angles.

You have the choice between taking lessons or flying in tandem with a qualified instructor. Ground training sessions are also available.

Moreover, you can try kite, mountainboarding, and buggy with a kite school operating from their base in Targassonne, near to Font Romeu.

Fishing

Fishing is available at a number of nearby lakes and rivers. Mountain lakes rich in salmon and rivers with trout, in addition to the perch, carp, pike and roach.

Horse riding

It is possible to take out horses and trek around the area for anything from one hour to several days-including overnight bivouac. (Cheval Loisirs Promenades in Targassone and Centre équestre in Font-Romeu).

Mountainbiking

Thermal baths have wonderful calming effects. There are 3 sites near Pyrenees 2000, where you can discover their benefits.

Water heated naturally to over 50° C is cooled for comfort and pumped into pools in beautiful surroundings... You can laze in the sun, top up the tan, laze a bit longer in the warm waters, then get a freshly squeezed juice from the bar.

All the bains have naturally sulphur heated water at about 35˚C.

Saint-Thomas-les-bains and Llo have additional facilities in the form of steam rooms, saunas, jacuzzis and massage available. Dorres maintains its Roman history offering simple bathing in natural surroundings.
