After reading about this project on Modern Vespa forum, i decided to give it a try myself.
You need to replace the original blinkersocket by new "two contact" ones, like the ones used fo the rear-/brakelight and special dual color led's from V-LEDS in America.

Danny from Birmingham, UK mailed me a nice picture of his lovely MODded LX.
It's nice to see modern Vespa's given to "old" mod look.

V-LED RUNNING LIGHTS & SIGNAL INIDICATORS

Using the "euro turn signal kit" & the V-leds dual color bulbs it's possible to create high visibility running lights and amber colored turn signals into the turnsignals of the LX models.
You need to buy the kit from Scooterwest and the Led bulbs from V-LED.
This has been done on American spec LXes but not on euro specs yet, so i don't now if the installation is the same. Maybe i should give it a try?
